Visita al Banco de Germoplasma Hortícola de Zaragoza / Visit to the CITA Vegetable Germplasm Bank
El pasado 21 de febrero visitó el Campus Aula Dei un grupo compuesto por personal técnico del proyecto “Pon Aragón en tu Mesa” y alumnos del Programa de Emprendimiento Agroalimentario, una iniciativa del Departamento de Desarrollo Rural y Sostenibilidad del Gobierno de Aragón, el Instituto Aragonés de Fomento (IAF), la Asociación de Industrias de Alimentación de Aragón (AIAA), el Centro de Investigación y Tecnología Agroalimentaria (CITA), el Centro Europeo de Empresas e Innovación (CEEIARAGON) y el Parque Científico Tecnológico Aula Dei (PCTAD), que busca fomentar la generación de acciones concretas para aumentar el número de Pymes agroalimentarias que incorporen la innovación en su estrategia y proceso a través de la participación activa en los programas de innovación. La visita incluyó el Banco de Germoplasma Hortícola del CITA, de la mano de su investigadora responsable y miembro de PROVESOS la Dra. Cristina Mallor.

On February 21, the Aula Dei Campus visited a group made up of technical staff from the "Pon Aragón en tu Mesa" project and students of the Agrifood Entrepreneurship Program, an initiative of the Department of Rural Development and Sustainability of the Government of Aragon, the Aragonese Institute de Fomento (IAF), the Association of Food Industries of Aragón (AIAA), the Agri-Food Research and Technology Center (CITA), the European Center for Business and Innovation (CEEIARAGON) and the Aula Dei Technological Science Park (PCTAD), which seeks to encourage the generation of concrete actions to increase the number of agro-food SMEs (Small and Medium Size Enterprises) that incorporate innovation in their strategy and process through active participation in innovation programs. The visit included the CITA Vegetable Germplasm Bank, led by its researcher and member of PROVESOS, Dr. Cristina Mallor.
